Piperonyl butoxide is a synergist that is used in combination with insecticides like synthetic pyrethroids to increase its’ effectiveness. Our Piperonyl butoxide technical is approved by World Health Organization (WHO) as a Synergist for use in Long Lasting Insecticide Nets.
It acts by blocking the natural detoxification system of the target insects resulting in improved performance of the insecticide. Piperonyl butoxide is an important step in Insecticide Resistance Management in Vector Control programmes.

Vector Control

RUBI

RUBI is a fast-acting insecticide used as an Indoor Residual Spray to control adult vector mosquitoes. RUBI is suitablefor IRS application on the walls and roofs of all houses and domestic animal shelters in a given area, in order to kill the adult vector mosquitoes that land and rest on these surfaces. RUBI also repels mosquitoes from treated spaces thus reducing vector mosquito density in living areas, thereby, human-vector contact.
